Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes, and Fries

We had lunch at Hwy 55 and I loved this neat little place. The food and service was both great!!!
The first one of these restaurants opened in 1991 and won the best burger award in 2012. They now have over 120 locations.
This place is a great family place and like I said you could not ask for better service. We visited the Eastgate  location in Ohio.
I loved all the 50's decorations they had and our both was shaped like a car. I know we will be going back to this place over and over.
I am not a big hamburger person but I loved their burgers.
If you see one of these restaurants make sure you stop.

American Sign Museum

We recently took a trip to the American sign museum in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a place that houses a lot of signs.
The building is around 19,000 square feet of exhibit space with another 20,000 waiting for development.
They also have 28 feet ceilings to help house the larger signs as well as a working neon shop.
They have almost every kind of signs you can think of from the Fischer's Big Boy to older signs. This is a really neat place to visit and if you have anyone in your family who is into signs they will love it!!!
They are located at 1330 Monmouth Ave. Cincinnati, Ohio.
Admission is $15.00 for adults, children 12 and under are free, Seniors 65 and up is $ 10.00.
You can also get a membership to the museum. They also offer guided tours, we did not take that one we just walked around our self's and looked at all the signs and took photos. Even though this is a big building it will not take you long to go through it.
It was neat to see these signs but it is not someplace that I will be visiting again, for me it was one of those I want to see it and I did. I really think the $15.00 is a little much to pay for what you are seeing.

Haunted Greenwood Cemetery

Greenwood cemetery is located in Hamilton, Ohio and it said to be haunted.
This cemetery was once flooded. I would think that could have something to do with some of the haunting's that take place here.
This is a nice cemetery that seems to be well kept. It is across the streets from rows of houses. Some of the people who live across from the cemetery have claimed to take pictures of a man on horseback riding through the cemetery when there is no one there.
People have reported seeing shadows of people in the cemetery as well as hearing voices when no one is around.
We paid a visit to this cemetery and did a little investigating. We did not see or hear anything out of the ordinary. It was pretty quite while we were there.
If you have been to this cemetery and have seen anything please fell free to share, I would love to hear about it.
Just like all other cemetery's if you visit here to do an investigating please respect that peoples loved ones are buried here. The cemetery does close at dark so don't get caught trespassing . You can stand outside the gate and see into the cemetery so you don't have to be inside to see the man on the horse.  Also DO NOT go alone. At the beginning of this year there was reports of 4 or 5 woman that were sexually assaulted in and around the cemetery so please use caution.

Penguin Encounter at Newport Aquarium

We went to the Newport Aquarium to do the Penguin Encounter. If you are an animal lover like I am then this is something that you have to do.
This is such an awesome experience. Never did I think I would ever be this close to a penguin and get to touch one.
This is a private 20 minute session that allows you to see and touch these sweet babies. At the encounter they allow 15 guest to go back and visit with them.
We had 2 staff members who took us back and they were so sweet and told us a lot of information about the penguins. You sit on this bench and they let the penguins just waddle around. They come up to you and you can pet them. I was so in love, they are so stinking cute. You can take pictures and videos and towards the end of your visit they bring this rock like around and they put it in front of you and one of the penguins will get on it and a staff member from the aquarium will take pictures of you that you can purchase if you want. The beautiful model that we had in our photo was Blueberry and let me just say she is a great model, she is so beautiful.
There is a separate cost to do the encounter. For nonmembers of the aquarium it is $26.99 per person and for members it is $21.59 per person. They only do the encounters at certain times and you have to be in the meeting area  at least 10 minutes before.
I would recommend this to everyone. It is such a neat experience that I know I will remember for a life time. I will post the video of us getting to pet Blueberry.
