Duke Energy Holiday Trains

We went to the museum center to check out the Holiday Junction. This is the train display that they have every year. This was our 2nd time to go and just like last year, we had a great time. There is so much to see and do and if you have someone in your family that loves trains they would love this.
You can also visit with the big guy in red ( Santa) and you can talk with his reindeers, Pogie and Patter. I love these reindeers, it is so neat to watch them interact with the people. If you have smaller kids, they can take a train ride around the winter wonder land they have set up. It is a beautiful scene of snow and animals. To be honest I was a little jealous that I could not fit on the train..lol..
Your admission also includes the museum visit or you can purchase tickets to all the museums. If you are a Duke Energy costumer you can get free tickets to the train display.
While you are at the museum you can check out Rocky Mountain Express showing at the Omnimax.  My dad and Doug have seen this movie and they both really liked it.
The museum is located at 1301 Western Ave. Cincinnati, Ohio.
The train display is open from November 11,2014 till Jan. 04,2015.
Disclaimer: I am not getting paid to do this post. I am not a Duke Energy customer, but we did receive free tickets. All photos and videos are property of Doug and myself.

Columbus Commons Festival of Lights

We were in Columbus, Ohio a couple of weeks ago to watch the Bruins play hockey. After the game we stopped by the Columbus Commons park to see their lights. This was so beautiful. They had so many lights and different displays. They have 200,000 LED lights. They have the most beautiful tall tree decorated and in front of it was a sled with light up reindeer's that moved.
If you are in Columbus anytime between now and Jan. 1st,2015 make sure you check this park out. The lights come on at dusk and stay on until 11pm.
The park is located at 160 S High Street.
