Elsinor Castle

We visited the Elsinor Castle. This is a beautiful structure. It was erected in 1883 and was designed by Samuel Hannaford to commemorate a Shakespeare Festival being held in Cincinnati at the same time. It now serves as a valve house for the Cincinnati Water Works.
It is a very neat thing to be driving down Gilbert Avenue and see a Castle standing next to the sidewalk.
