Visit With Pinocchio

Yesterday 05/27/12, we went to visit Pinocchio. Pinocchio is a twelve foot tall bronze sculpture at the Cincinnati Art Museum. He is amazing to see. I loved it. He is standing outside and it looks like he is welcoming visitors to the museum. He was sculpted by Jim Dine, who is a Cincinnati native. Inside the museum you will also find the  sculpture called Shark Girl, by Casey Rioden. This is a really neat sculpture. I loved her.
I love the art museum, there is always so much to see. If you have a chance you really should check out Pinocchio. Little kids, big kids, and adults will love seeing him. It is free to get into the art museum, but if you park in their parking lot there is a $4.00 charge. If you spend $15.00 in the gift shop or the cafe then your parking is free.
The art museum is located at 953 Eden Park. Cincinnati, Ohio.

Mt. Airy Forest And Treehouse

We went to Mt. Airy Forest and I love this place. I am in love with the treehouse they have there. It is called The Every body's Treehouse, a 1,500 square foot masterpiece in maple and black locust, in Mt. Airy Forest. It is suspended among 12 trees and universally accessible via ramps. This is a really neat place to see. It's not every day that you see a treehouse in a park and you are able to go into it without having to climb a tree.
The park is also a beautiful place. It is 1,459 acres. It includes miles of hiking, a beautiful lake with a gazebo. It also has 23 picnic areas, complete with tables, charcoal grills, and swing sets.
The park is located at 5083 Colerain Ave. Cincinnati, Ohio.

Cincinnati Bengals first home game of the year

If you are a sports fan and live near  Cincinnati or if you are visiting Cincinnati make sure you go to the Cincinnati Bengals football opening day game. This is a blast, they have so much going on before the game. You can meet Who Dey, see a cool group preform, and even meet some of the cheerleaders. It is always a fun time and before the game they have the jets do a fly over the stadium. This year first home game will be September 16, 2012. If you can make sure you check it out.

Sky Galley Restaurant

We had lunch at Sky Galley Restaurant and I love this place. If you sit inside or outside like we did, you will love it. The view is the runway of Lunken Airport so you never know when you will see a plane land or take off. This place has great food and service.  Sky Galley is located inside the Lunken Airport. There is free parking across the street from the restaurant and after your meal you can walk down to the fenced in area and look at some of the planes. If you or someone in your family is like me and loves planes this is the place to take them. Also Lunken Airport is full of history. It is Cincinnati's original airport, built in 1925.
You really should check this place out, I am sure you will not be disappointed.
They are located at 262 Wilmer Ave. Cincinnati, Ohio
Their website is skygalley.net
