We took a tour of The Dinsmore Homestead. This was a haunted tour that we did. This place is so full of history and a couple of ghost. There has been a few deaths that have taken place there. This house is so beautiful and they do all kinds of tours not just haunted. On our tour we got to tour the family cemetery and that was really cool. We went up to it at night and it was creepy. They had the people there from P.I.N.K. which is the Paranormal Investigators of Northern Kentucky, and they were picking up some readings especially in the cemetery. I know the pictures I took in the cemetery had some strange things flying around them. You should check out The Dinsmore Homestead even if you are not into the haunted things they offer all kinds of tours and they do a Christmas tour also. It is worth it to go just to hear the history and see the beautiful house and all the beautiful items that are still in the house. This was a well known family and they had alot of celebrity friends.
The Dinsmore Homestead is located at 5656 Burlington Pike. Burlington, Kentucky.
Their web page is www.dinsmorefarm.org
Hope you have the chance to check them out...Hug's :)
On November 17,2012 Eden Park had Balluminaria. This is where hot air balloons light up the mirror lake that is in Eden Park. There was 11 balloons and they filled them up, and when it was dark they did a light show with them. This was so neat to see. I loved it. If they do it next year and I am sure they will since this was I think the 3rd year they have done it, make sure you go and check it out. They also had food trucks there and you could warm up with some hot chocolate and coffee. There was also entertainers that were walking around. There was Santa there and some cast members from the Nut Cracker. It was a good time and it is free. It is one of the largest hot air balloon festivals in the country. Eden Park is located at 950 Eden Park Drive. Cincinnati, Ohio.
If you were there let me know what you thought of it...hugs :)
On November 17,2012, we had lunch at The Moerlein Lager House. This is a really nice place to go to for lunch, dinner or even just to go and have a drink. The food is amazing and the service is great. I loved the view that we had from our table. We had the Pretzel's for an appetizers and if you go make sure you try them, they are delicious. I had the chicken Parmesan Penna and Doug had the Memphis pork sandwich. He said his sandwich was really good. My pasta was great and there was so much of it as you can tell from the pictures, that I had to take most of it home for later. They give you so much food for the price. Doug also had a beer, he tried the Moerlein Barbarossa Double Dark. I stayed with the ice water since I am still trying to lose more weight.
All in all this is a really great place to go. They are located at 115 Joe Nuxhall Way. Cincinnati, Ohio.
Their hours are Monday- Thursday 11am till Midnight
Friday and Saturday 11am till 1am
Sunday 11am till 11pm
If you check them out or if you have been there before let me know what you think and what you had. Hugs :)
Disclaimer: The opinions listed here are my own. I am not being paid to do this blog nor did I receive anything free from Moerlein Lager House. We paid for our own meal.

On Sunday 09/23/12 we took at trip to Germantown, Ohio to visit the Pretzel Festival. On the way we went by Carlisle, Ohio. Carlisle, Ohio is a small town, but what I wanted to see was the Spaceship house that is there. This is two spaceships that look just alike but they are connected by a big metal duck. This was so cool looking, and I would love to have one of these. If you are ever in or around Carlisle, Ohio make sure you check this house out. You will think the Aliens have came for you..lol.. A few week's ago Doug and I went to Greensburg, Indiana to visit the Stapps Circle S Ranch. This is an amazing place to go see. But I have to be honest the main reason I went was to see the baby lion Africa they have. I know you are thinking I can see a baby lion at the zoo and you are right but can you play and hold a baby lion at the zoo?? I don't think so, but at Stapps you can. We played with Africa and got to watch her eat and hear her talk and let me tell you it is a experience I will never forget. She is the cutest little thing and so sweet. It is hard to think how big she is going to be when you are holding her and she is so small. They not only have a baby lion, this place has 3 tigers, and one of the tigers loves to play ball with you, it was so cute. They have a full grown lion, which will be Africa's mate when she gets older. They have a wolf, 2 baby bears, the mom and dad bears to the babies, they have a bunch of chicken's, turkeys, they have donkeys, camels, water buffalo, alpacas, lemurs, and so many more. This is a neat place to go and visit if you are a animal lover like I am. I had so much fun there, I will be going back. The people there are so friendly and sweet and they know so much about the animals. It is nice to see how cared for and loved these animals are.
