Fountain Square

I love to go to Downtown Cincinnati. One of my favorite places to go there is Fountain Square. Fountain Square is in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. It was recently redesigned with garden like landscaping, a 24x42 video board and a refurbished fountain, The Genius of Water. You do not have to worry about feeling safe while there, there is always uniformed ambassadors to keep the square safe and clean. There is 16 chess or checker preprinted boards on tables. You can obtain game pieces at the parking garage office on the blue level one.
Tyler Davidson Fountain is the focal point of Fountain Square. It was dedicated in 1871. The nine foot tall Genius of Water stands in the center of the fountain with other figures surrounding it. There is different animals and people on each side. There is also a water wall. It's a sheet of water that pours down the wall and also spouts up from the ground.
The 5'3rd bank building is behind the fountain and it has lights on it. At night it is so pretty and the lights change colors. You can do a carriage ride while on the square. One of my favorite thing's to do is visit one of the street food vendors and get a brat let me just say they are "AMAZING".
Also  on the video board you can go down on Sunday's and watch the Bengals football game. Sometimes they do family movie night there. During the Christmas season Fountain Square is just beautiful. They put a big Christmas tree in the middle of the Square and you can ice skate. There is many shops surrounding Fountain Square and also there is Greater's famous ice cream.
Fountain Square is located at 520 Vine Street. Cincinnati, Ohio.

Hope you enjoy your visit there...Hug's :)
