Japanese Frindship Garden

We took a trip to Georgetown, Kentucky and one of the things I had to visit was the Japanese Friendship Garden. The name of it is Yuko-En on the Elkhorn. And it is the most beautiful and peaceful place I have ever been to. It is nearly 6 acres of Waterfalls, Walking Paths, Koi Ponds, Arched Bridges, a Japanese style raked Stone Garden and Elkhorn Creek. This is a self guided tour and when we were there we were the only 2 people in the whole park. I would think a park this beautiful would have alot more visitors. The park is open from dawn till dusk and it is free to visit. It is located on US 25, North in Georgetown. If you are in Georgetown besure to check this park out. I know you will find it as beautiful as we did..
